Welcome to Flores, Indonesia's hidden gem and the gateway to the legendary Komodo Islands. Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, a private driver will be waiting to whisk you away to the beautiful Katamaran Resort, where you can settle into your luxurious accommodations overlooking the turquoise waters of the Flores Sea. This afternoon, we'll embark on one of the most unique culinary experiences of the entire journey. At Dapur Tara, we'll be welcomed into an intimate setting where local traditions, storytelling, and food come together in a remarkable cultural experience. Together, we'll participate in a hands-on cooking class featuring traditional recipes inspired by the indigenous tribes of Flores, which we'll then enjoy during a fireside dinner. May 26, 2027 - Komodo National Park Adventure

Today brings the signature experience of the Komodo Islands and a true bucket-list adventure.

We'll board our private boat and set sail into the stunning waters of Komodo National Park. Our first stop is the iconic Padar Island, where a short but rewarding hike leads to one of the most famous viewpoints in all of Indonesia.

Next, we'll visit the famous Pink Beach, one of the few naturally pink-sand beaches in the world. Here you'll have time to relax, swim, snorkel, or simply take in the remarkable scenery.

After some time in the water, we'll journey to Komodo Island itself, home of the legendary Komodo dragon. Accompanied by expert local rangers, we'll explore the island while learning about these fascinating prehistoric creatures and the conservation efforts that protect them.

After a delicious lunch onboard, we will head out to Manta point, where we'll have the opportunity to snorkel in the crystal clear water. Keep your eyes peeled for turtles and the huge manta rays gliding through the water beneath us!

Today is intentionally unstructured, allowing you to experience Komodo at your own pace.

Relax at the resort, enjoy the infinity pool, indulge in a spa treatment, paddle through the calm waters by kayak, or simply soak in the spectacular scenery surrounding the property. For those seeking additional adventure, optional excursions and water activities will be available to arrange in advance.

This evening, we'll board a beautiful traditional Phinisi boat for a sunset dinner cruise through the islands surrounding Labuan Bajo. As the sky transforms into shades of gold, orange, and crimson and the flying foxes head out for their evening meals, we'll enjoy our own memorable dinner while sailing through some of Indonesia's most breathtaking waters.
